Please note this was a project that was done in the context of Enoch's Path of Lansing which was part of the larger network (or co-op) of others simple churches called Tapestry. Please feel free to share pictures, stories, insights or ideas to this blog so that it truly encompasses the true breadth of diversity and context that exists in the Tapestry organization. Enjoy, Eric

Thank you, Mr. Farrand! I feel the same way about the whole "lost tomb" thing. I think, as things progress, the "truth" of what it is is coming out. But many of these things that people hang their faith on are not "deal breakers" for me, either. It's nice to hear something of balance when all around me (in my church) people are sounding the "battle cry".

"When people cry, cry with them. When they laugh, laugh with them."

This post speaks directly to my heart. I'm tired of calling on people and waiting on them to feel comfortable enough to walk into a church.

The walls of a church seem bigger and more like barriers than any walls except maybe those at fort knox or Sing Sing...but church walls do a great job of keeping the 'evils of the world' (aka Hurting People) out.
